10 mins to kick off, atmosphere building nicely at the Milenium stadium
However, write the underdogs off at your peril. Yesterday saw one of modern rugby's greatest ever upsets, with Japan beating South Africa, so who knows what will happen today. Will anyone be tempted to back Uruguay today?
wales will sham them
Uruguay dont have a great record din this competetion, and are expected to pose little threat to Wales this afternoon. With a number of part timers in the starting line up, they will do well to keep Wales at bay
The Wales line up is undoubtedly an interesting one- Rhys Priestland starts from the off and will be given a chance to stake his claim for a starting berth. In the back row, both Tipuric and Warburton start in what looks to be a strong back row. Both are openside flankers by trade, and it will be interesting to see if this is a ploy used by other teams in the competition.
Wales get underway in this years RWC against Uruguay in just over 30 mins. Wales will be looking to get off to a good start in what is a fiendishly difficult pool, against what is likely to be the weakest team in the competition. Wales were getting into good form in the world cup warm ups, but were unlucky with injury in the final match which really disrupted preparation. Both Rhys Webb and crucially Leigh Halfpenny will not feature for Wales after picking up injuries last week, and it will be interesting to see how the squad recovers from both set backs.

Must always blame the English ;)
