Welcome to today’s coverage of the DHL Stormers vs Western Force from DHL Newlands Rugby Stadium, Cape Town. For the first time, the Force will go into a match against the Stormers as favourites as they look to build on what is already their best season to date. The Stormers have made five changes to the team that went down to the Bulls last week, most notably the choice to shift Peter Grant back into flyhalf at the expense of Kurt Coleman. Luke Burton is handed his debut in place of the highly rated Kyle Godwin in one of two changes to the Force’s starting lineup that beat the Cheetahs last week. A victory for the Force today would mean they take top spot in the Australian conference as well as third overall. A victory for the Stormers would result in them moving off the bottom of the combined and South African log in what has been a disaster of a season for them. A special congratulations goes out to Peter Grant who wins his 100th Super Rugby cap today. Ultimate Rugby will keep you up to date throughout the match.
