Scotland began their campaign with an impressive 11-6 win away to England, but were then edged 25-24 by Wales, with their fixture against France in round 3 being postponed. Ireland lost their opening two matches, going down 21-16 to Wales and 15-13 against France, but bounced back to thump Italy 48-10. This is an important match for both sides as they look to notch up their second victories in the competition.
