Good on the lad

Once again Newcastle reply straight away with Clegg splitting the posts with a penalty to reduce the deficit with Sale now winning 14-8.

@Frank: They are indeed.

You couldn't write the script as Mark Cueto on his final appearance at the AJ Bell gets his sides second try of the game. Some great build up from the Sale forwards with Cueto getting his hands on the ball and goes over under the sticks. Cipriani gets the extras and Sale lead 14-8.

Are sale playing in their new yellow kit?

Good scrum from the Sale pack as they earn the turnover and now they will have a scrum 5 metres from their line.

Taylor returns from the bin but Falcons still dominating and they have a 5 metre scrum from the Sale line.

Great response from the Falcons who has dominated since the Cusiter try. Powell in the uses his pace to beat the Sharks defence and go over in the corner. Clegg misses the extras and Sale still in front 7-5.

14 man Sale get the first try of the game with Beaumont starting the move with a fine break with Chris Cusiter finishing in the end. Cipriani converts to make it 7-0.
