Sale Sharks host Connacht in the Quarter-finals of the European Rugby Challenge Cup. The sides finished level on 22 points in Pool 3, with Sale winning four of their six matches and Connacht five. Sale finished top of the Pool thanks to a better points difference. Sale won the first clash between the sides in the pool 34-13 and Connacht the second 20-18 with the home side coming out on top on both occasions.
