A bit of kicking tennis at the moment as both sides kick it back to eachother.
Poor kick from Michalak as his kick goes dead and Toulon will have the lineout on halfway.
Michalak gets the game underway here.
Both sides make their way out onto the field.
Both teams field strong sides for tonight's game with Toulon welcoming back Bastareaud after missing the game against Clermont last week and he partners in Mermoz in a new centre partnership from last week with Wulf dropping out of the squad and Giteau dropped to the bench. At Flyhalf Wilkinson is rested for the game against Leinster next so Michalak continues at Flyhalf. And on the bench Habana returns and will surely get some game time tonight as he tries to prove his fitness and push for a starting berth against Leinster next Sunday. As for Toulouse they welcome back a host of French internationals who were rested last week. Huget, Picamoles, and Nyanga return to the side and Florian Fritz starts his first game since December and he will be a huge boost to Guy Noves side. HoweverToulouse have given French internationals Yoann Maestri, Gaël Fickou and Maxime Médard a week off but they are expected to return for the game against Munster next Saturday. Kick off is coming up so stay with us for updates and analysis.
Hello and welcome to Ultimate Rugby's live coverage of this Top 14 game with two giants of French rugby meeting here tonight as Toulouse travel to the Stade Felix Mayol to take on Toulon. A week before both these sides take on Munster and Leinster respectively in Heineken cup Quarter final ties The current European Champions and former European Champions will battle out tonight with both sides hoping for a win as they push for a top 4 spot and secure semi-final spots with Toulon and Toulouse hoping to become French champions in May and take the crown from Castres who were victorious last season. Both sides go into this after failing to win last weekend. Toulon were beaten by Clermont last Friday and were unlucky to lose in a tight affair but not many sides go to the Stade Michellin and win so they will be happy to pick up a losing bonus point. As for Toulouse they managed to salvage a draw in Paris last Saturday after falling behind 27-5 with only a half and hour gone but a late try from Montes drew the sides level at 27-27 and that is how the game ended. This game is perfectly poised and after Clermont's defeat to Brive on Friday Toulon know that maximum points from this game will put them at top spot while Toulouse who lie outside the play-off spots in 7th know that a defeat here tonight would be a huge setback and a win would enable them to climb up the table. Kick off is half an hour away so stay with us for further updates and analysis.
Where's Wilko?
