NMMU unable to make any ground against a very strong defence. Pukke eventually win a penalty for not releasing the ball and have set up a lineout on the NMMU 22m line.

Pukke are employing a very effective rush defence. NMMU are lucky to win a penalty near the halfway line. They set up a lineout near the 22m line, but play is momentarily stopped for a strategic break.

Poor defence by NMMU allows Pukke to break the line off static ball. Pukke easily break through a number of tackles in the process of scoring the try.

NMMU finally are able to put some good phases together, but Pukke are up to the challenge and they manage to win a penalty at the ruck.

Pukke spread the ball wide from the scrum. Smith gets the ball out wide and puts in a great hand-off to break the line and go 40m to score the opening try.
