Matfield gathers and Saints launch a powerful maul.

Gopperth to get us underway with the first half!

Both sides make their way out onto the field for the opening half.

Late change for Saints: Jamie Gibson is replaced by Christian Day on the bench.

Hello all and welcome to Ultimate Rugby's coverage of Northampton Saints and London Wasps at Franklins Gardens. Both sides are off the back of successful quarter-final qualification in the European Champions Cup following a dramatic finale in the pool stages. They return to the domestic league this evening with only two points separating the sides, whereby a win will be crucial in catching the top four teams in the league. Wasps however have failed to win at Franklins Gardens since November 2005, so they will evidently be looking to set the records straight this evening. Saints make 7 changes to the team that secured a crucial bonus point over Scarlets last weekend, with in-form youngster Harry Mallinder assuming the role of full-back.
