c'Mon Munster..

Both sides coming out here as Ross Ford leads out Edinburgh as skipper. Minutes from KO

Hello and welcome along to our live coverage of this evening's action from Thomond Park as Munster welcome Edinburgh to the south of Ireland for the opening round of Guinness Pro 12 action. With a bundle of changes to this year's format of the Pro12, every point that can be gathered will go a long way to securing both sides' European future as they look to begin the season on a high note. After much drama in recent weeks in the Munster camp, the home side will look to send out a clear message of unity under new head coach Anthony Foley. Three debutants for the Irish outfit, with Kevin O'Byrne and Shane Buckley in the pack, along with former Brumbies man Andrew Smith at 12. For the visitors, a dangerous looking back line with the likes of Tim Visser and Dougie Fife out wide, and Tom Heathcote asked to pull the strings from the flyhalf berth. Lots to look forward to and we'll be here for al lot the action. Stick with us for live commentary and coverage throughout. Kickoff 10 minutes away.

Come on Edinburgh!

I'm excited for the season to start. Go munster!
