Joe Simmonds gets the second half underway for Exeter
Montpellier take a 24-19 lead over the Exeter Chiefs into halftime. Exeter opened the scoring with a try just three minutes in to lead 5-0. A three try blitz from Montpellier in a space of ten minutes saw them race into a 21-5 lead and they added a penalty approaching the half hour mark to make it a 19 point ball game. Exeter came roaring back with two tries inside the final ten minutes of the half to trail by just five points at the break. Montpellier need just one more try to claim a bonus point and book their spot in the last 16, while Exeter are pushing for a higher seed.
