Half time here in Melbourne and its the visiting team the Waratahs who lead by 16 points to 13. Both sides have a try each with a few more points added by the boot of Woodward and Barnes for each side. The Rebels however behind in the scoreline seemed to dominate the game play in the first 40 minutes. Lets see if they can change this domination into more points or will the Waratahs look to increase their lead.

An opportunist try if any scored by the Waratahs. They had multiple phases going inside the Rebels 22 but the ball was turned ove by Ashley-Cooper which look as a get out of jail free card for the Rebels however they decide to go wide on their own try line. Folau eyes up the ball and intercepts the last pass to run in for his 8th Try of the season.

25 minutes gone and the Rebels look to have the competitive edge with some superb turnovers and great game play. Possession stats favour the Rebels with 58% to 42% for the Waratahs.

TRY for the Rebels... Waratahs had the ball and running the ball 10 metres from their own line, a superb turnover by Hugh Pyle allowes the Rebels regain possession.. Ball goes wide and there was a 2 V 2 outside. Woodward manages to draw in the outside defender and a great offload sees English go in for the first try of the game in the corner. TMO required to confirm grounding and Woodward converts.

Just 5 minutes have gone and Jason Woodward gets scoring underway with a difficult kick at goal, it made the 35 metre distance and puts the Rebels 3 points in front.
