Lions make a small break fro their scrum and again try to run it out of their 22m. Lions eventually kick the ball and recover it. Boshoff then kicks the ball for the corner and sets up a lineout to the Reds on the 5m line.

Reds have dominated opening exchanges, with most of the game being played in the Lions half.

Reds make a break and after a textbook tackle they knock the ball on metres from the tryline. Scrum to the Lions on their 5m line.

Lions have a lineout on halfway.

Lions steal the ball at the lineout and then win a penalty after the Reds don't roll away. They take it quickly but end up losing the ball. Reds kick the ball up field. The lions attempt to run it back but they lose the ball in a tackle, which resulted in Cooper picking the ball up and scoring.
