La Rochelle host Toulon in the first semi-final of the French Top 14. La Rochelle topped the standings with 17 victories from their 26 matches to move straight into a home semi-final. Toulon finished in 4th position and hosted Castres in the quarter finals which they won 26-22. These sides met twice in the regular season, with the first encounter ending in a 17-17 draw, while La Rochelle won the second narrowly 23-20. Everything to play for with a spot in the Top 14 Final on the line.
