Good afternoon and welcome to live coverage of Italy vs Ireland in the RBS six nations. Defending champions Ireland travel to Rome looking to open this years competition with victory. Italy however are always competitive at home, and will be quietly confident of an upset. The Irish are missing a number of front line players due to injury, but still field quite a strong side. The big news is Sean O'Brien, the returning flanker, has succumbed to injury in the warm up, and so will not make his return to the green jersey. Tommy O'Donnell replaces him in the starting 15, with Robbie Diack joining the bench. Ian Keatley starts at ten, his game management skills seeing him edging out Ian Madigan for the starting outhalf jersey.
