Hello and welcome to Ultimate Rugby's live coverage of today's 3rd/4th playoff in this year's Women's Rugby World Cup. This fixture sees the hosts, France welcome Ireland. France were somewhat surprised by Canada in the semi-final and will have a point to prove when they come out all guns blazing in front of their passionate fans. Ireland shocked the Women's Rugby world when they topped their group, beating the defending champions, New Zealand en route. However a powerful performance by England in the semi-final sent Ireland into the 3rd place play off.
Both coaches have made squad rotations. Ireland have made two changes with France making 8 changes and one positional switch.
The tournament hosts will be hoping for a repeat of their 19-15 win over Ireland in Pau back in March which clinched their first Grand Slam since 2005 but they will have their work cut out for them if they are to overcome Paul Doyle's women.
