Madigan tries a chip over the top on half way to hand possession back to the BAbaas
Ireland go wide and look to run the ball from deep
Kearney collects deep and takes the ball on
I would have said it was more of a reckless attempt at a ruck clear out than a deliberate foul, but I can see the principle you're coming from. I don't think it was too dangerous, seeing as the Baa-Baas player seemed to be fine soon after, but then again I am an Ireland fan, so I don't want him to get a ban in the first place!
Gopperth gets us back underway with a deep kick
Deliberate foul with a knee to the back of another player is dangerous and deserves much more than just a yellow. Needs a few weeks ban. It is silly and reckless
Another knock on ends the move, and brings an end to what has in truth been a scrappy half of rugby. The rainy conditions in Limerick are making the expansive brand of rugby which the Babaas love to play increasingly difficult. Ireland dominant at the set piece, but still only lead by 2 points.
