The teams are back out on the park and ready for the second half

As was expected , a half of exciting running rugby from both sides. Big hits and smart off loads made for excellent spectator ship. Both sides displaying good skill sets in all facets of play and the second half promises to deliver more of the same. 2 Points separate the sides as they go in for the half time break

The Highlanders compete at the line out but, knock the ball on and thats the end of the half

The half time hooter sounds but, the line out will be played first

Eventually after not being able to penetrate the Hurricanes defense Ben Smith rakes a kick into touch on the Hurricanes 5 meter line

The Hurricanes clear the ball up field and the Highlanders gather the ball and look to manufacture a final attack for the half

The Highlanders with a devastating break into the Hurricanes half off loading neatly to the supporting runners. Aaron Smith gets the final pass and darts in for the try but, the ball is lost forward in the tackle just as he tries to dot it down
