Hello and welcome to round 3 of Super Rugby, where the Highlanders take on the Reds at the Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin. Both teams come into this game perhaps not as prepared as they would prefer. The Reds are still dealing with the Karmichael Hunt issue and are running very thin on number 10's. Following the narrow loss to the Crusaders, the Highlanders have been unable to put in a decent training session with a number of players being either sick, suspended or have family matters to attend to. James O'Connor makes his long awaited comeback and is selected at flyhalf which may be just what the Reds need.
