Wales remain the only side yet to be shown a card of any colour in the 2021 Six Nations, indeed they have now gone 15 games in the tournament without being shown a card, France meanwhile have conceded fewer penalties per game (8.7) than any other side in the 2021 Championship.

Wales are bidding to win a sixth Six Nations title (since 2000), only England (7) have won the Championship more often, if they win this match it would be their fifth Grand Slam, no other side has more than three.

Wales have won three of their last five away games to France in the Six Nations (L2), they won on their last trip to France (24-19 in 2019) despite trailing by 16 points at half-time, the biggest comeback for a team in the Six Nations.

France have won only two of their last nine games against Wales in the Six Nations (L7) after winning nine of the previous 12 (L3).

“We are all looking forward to Saturday and to the finale of the Six Nations,” said Wales head coach Wayne Pivac.

“We are four from four to date but know this weekend will be a great challenge against a very good French side, but we are looking forward to it.

“We know we need to step up from our previous performances and we want to end the tournament with a performance we know we are capable of.

“We have had great continuity in selection throughout the tournament and that is shown once again with the selection for Saturday.”
