The AMI Stadium is the venue for this clash between the Crusaders and the Brumbies. The last time the home side won their opening match of a Super Rugby campaign was in 2012 when they beat the Blues by one point. The Crusaders were unbeaten against Australian opposition in their last six games which includes all 5 games vs Australian opposition in 2016. The last time the Brumbies won on New Zealand soil was in round 4 of the 2014 campaign against the Hurricanes. Nonetheless the game promises to be an exciting encounter between two sides that have enjoyed success in Super Rugby in the past.
