Leinster take an 18-11 lead over Connacht into halftime. Connacht got off to the perfect start with a try just two minutes in to lead 5-0. Leinster got on the board with a penalty midway through the half and followed that up with two quick tries to race into a 15-5 lead. The sides then traded penalties before a second for Connacht with the final play of the half sees them trail by seven points at the break.
