Welcome to Round 2 of Super Rugby 2017 as the Chiefs host the Blues at Waikato Stadium. The previous round saw Chiefs claim victory over the Highlanders after 2 intercept tries in the first half gave them the lead they needed and built on to close out the game. Blues' Round 1 saw Rieko Ioane bag a hat trick of tries as the visitors ran in 7 tries in total vs Rebels. The last time these 2 sides met, the Chiefs came from behind to claim a 29-23 bonus point victory in a Round 7 clash in Hamilton.
