Undefeated Canterbury hosts defending champions Taranaki to close out week 7 of the ITM Cup in Christchurch.
Canterbury remains the only unbeaten team in the competition with seven wins from seven matches and not surprisingly tops the Premiership standings.
The home side had to work extremely hard in mid-week to secure a narrow 18-17 victory over Waikato, but the character of the side shone through. They will be looking to make it eight wins in a row and all but secure a home semi-final spot.
Defending champions Taranaki started this season slowly, but have built some momentum in recent weeks to lie in 4th position on the Premiership log.
Coming off a comprehensive 41-0 thumping of Waikato, the visitors will be in a confident mood and fully intent on causing an upset.
