Hirayama gets the second half underway!

Never a penalty. Eyes on the ball, attempted to play the ball, not the player. Could do nothing about the contact.

After what has been a fairly even encounter here at Leicester City Stadium, Canada lead 8-0, thanks to winger DTH Van Der Merwe's try and a successful attempt at goal by McRorie. The Romanians have dominated at scrum time and this could become a key factor of their game in the second half. Live updates of the second half to follow.

Cudmore secures the line out and McRorie clears to touch. Half Time!

Great kick by Wiringi, finding touch deep in Canadian territory.
