The Canes continue to attempt to run the ball out of their own half, and are stung again as this time a long pass is intercepted by Ndungane to race clear for the try. Steyn continues his flawless performance from placed balls to extend his sides lead to 27 points, If the Canes dont improve this game could already be over.

32 minutes gone and the Canes have finally come to life, having their first good attack in Bulls territory. Savea picks up the ball on the wing in his own half and beats one before putting in a chip which bobbles dangerously before being dealt with by the retreating Bulls defence. Score remains 20-0 to the Bulls.

Smith knocked unconscious hopefully all is o.k as he is stretchered off.

With a half an hour gone the Bulls are yet to let up the pressure on the Canes, attacking with pace and power. We are currently having a lengthy break in play as Conrad Smith receives treatment having been knocked out trying to tackle Engelbrecht.

The Bulls looking dominant so far, kicking a penalty to touch to give themselves a line out 5 metres out. They claim the ball cleanly and set up a great maul which allows Deon Stegmann to go over the line. Steyn nails a tricky conversion, Bulls lead by 20 after just 25 minutes.

Try out of nothing for the Bulls after 19 minutes. The Chiefs move the ball across the linne looking to run the ball out of their own 22, until Engelbrecht picks off a sloppy pass to race clear under the posts. Steyn adds the extras to give his side a 13 point lead.

12 minutes in and its still all Bulls, as Basson goes close to latching on to a Steyn chip through. Eventually th Bull's earn another penalty, and Steyn makes it 2 from 2.

At the first scrum of the day the 'Canes are penalised for an illegal bind. Steyn slots the penalty to give his side an early lead, 6 minutes gone.

After 3 minutes it the home side who have had the strongest start, going close to scoring after a big carry from Ndungane, but the play is brought back for crossing. Still no scores as of yet.
