The Exeter Chiefs take a 15-5 lead over the Bristol Bears into halftime. Bristol struck first with a try 13 minutes in to lead 5-0. A little over ten minutes later Exeter hit back with a try to level matters at 5 apiece. A second Exeter try followed around the half hour mark and they would keep the scoreboard ticking over with a late penalty for a ten point advantage at the break.
