Apologies for the lack of commentary during the 1st half as we were experiencing technical difficulties on our back end. All issues have been sorted and you can look forward to full coverage in the second half.
Half time and the home side trail by 6. Its been a fierce battle between the sides and as was expected some brilliant little individual battles brewing all over the field. Nothing much to choose between the two sides and the next 40 minutes promises to be very exciting.

Well this game has not been worth staying up until 2 am to watch....
The Blues host the Highlanders at Eden Park and the last time these two sides met the Blues were victorious. The homes side are looking to get consecutive wins for the first time since a 6 game winning streak between 2007 to 2011. The Highlanders lead the head to head 6-3 between the two sides with the biggest win of 44-7 coming in 2015. The Blues don't have a good win loss ratio against fellow New Zealand sides , as they have lost 16 of their last 17 , which includes 6 games in a row , against their New Zealand counterparts.
