Useless Italians

TRY BLUES! Robin Copeland goes over for his sides second of the day. Great work again from the pack as they pick and go, before Copeland takes the ball inside off Davies to crash over. Davies converts the relatively easy conversion to give the visitors a commanding lead as half time fast approaches.

Defences dominating here in Italy for now, Blues in possession and holding on o the ball on half way.

The Blues attempting to make ground here on halfway, but are meeting some resolute Italian defence and not really going anywhere. Eventually good counter rucking from Budd leads to a turnover.

Treviso work the ball into Cardiff territory with a good maul and some strong carries from Fuser and Zanni. Eventually the Blues defence are pinged for not rolling away at the breakdown and Berquist lands another penalty to reduce the gap back to four.

Bit of a lull in the game as a bou of kick tennis ensues. Berquist eventually ends it finding touch on half way.

Davies has certainly brought his kicking boots today, as he slots another tricky penalty. This time it comes from an offside from the Treviso defence. Blues lead 13-6 after 20 minutes.

Allready looking as though Treviso indiscipline may cost them today, thats twice now theyve let Cardiff back into the game straight after scoring.

The Blues again respond quickly, as Treviso concede another penalty straight from the kick off. Davies makes no mistakes from the tee to restore the four point lead.

Pressure finally tells as the Cardiff defence is pinged for offside, and Berquist steps up once more to narrow the deficit to just one.
