Off a turnover Davies hacks the ball through, and Maitland, with the line at his mercy, knocks on trying to ground the ball. A difficult chance, but hell be unhappy not to have come closer to scoring. 12 minutes gone.
He deserved it
10 minutes gone, and the game has so far been rather stop start, although the Lions have defiantly been on top. Hogg and Roberts especially with big carries.
First real flash point of the game sees Brits receive a yellow card. Farrell holds Brits at the back of a ruck, rather innocuously, Brits takes exception to this and throws an ugly looking punch. Ref Steve Walsh sees the action on the big screen and, with the game in mind, gives Brits a yellow.
Bright start by the Lions, turning the ball over straight from the kick off to apply early pressure. After some good continuity the Barbarians concede a penalty for tackler not releasing. Farrell coolly slots it to give his side the lead.
43 19 to the Lions

The Lions were late arriving to the stadium, so kick off has been delayed by 5 minutes.
Hello and welcome to coverage of the opening game of the 2013 Lions tour. The day the rugby world has had its eye on for four years is finally upon us, as the Lions are a few minutes away from taking the field against what looks to be a strong Barbarians side. Sweltering conditions in Hong Kong may have a deciding factor, so much so that there will be periodic drinks breaks throughout todays match. Kick off is just moments away!
