Australia and Wales square off in a titanic Pool D Rugby World Cup clash. Australia were made to work hard for their 39-21 win over Fiji in their opening match, while Wales swept aside Georgia with a 43-14 victory. It is likely that this match will determine who finishes in top spot and who finishes runner up of Pool D. The sides have met on 42 occasions, with Australia leading the head to head with 30 wins to 11 and a single draw. Included in that is six meetings between the sides in Rugby World Cups, with Australia recording five victories to the one by Wales back in 1987.
