An entertaining half of rugby with the Wallabies taking an early lead through Michael Hooper inside the first two minutes. The Boks hit back through tries by Mbonambi and Mapimpi before Toomua pounced a loose lineout throw to narrow the gap to just 1 point. Elton Jantjies converted a penatly as the Boks took a 4 point lead into the final minute of the half but Reece Hodge stepped up to convert a long-range penalty at the end of the half.
