Both side's selection have been slightly controversial. Australia have left out veteran Genia while captain Horwill has to make due with a place on the bench. Cooper is also out nursing an injury. In typical French fashion Saint-Andre has made some bizarre calls. Frederic Michalak who can't make is club's 23 man squad is selected at 10. While Trinh-Duc, who has been named in a selection of players who are to be rested next year ahead of the World Cup is left at home. Picamoles is over-looked while captain Dusautoir is injured.
Both sides had disappointing seasons last year and will no doubt feel they have a point to prove so we hope this will live up to typical Test match quality.
