Kirchener mis cues his kick, giving the Brumbies a line out in Bulls territory. Off the lineout the ball is spread to mid field, where Morne Steyn is penalised for not rolling away.

Mellet concedes his fourth penalty at the scrum tonight, and the referee is left with no option but to sin bin him.

The Bulls finally get a deserved try, started by good work from Kirchner on the right to release Mapoe to get to the Brumbies 22. The ball ids then spread wide to Visser, who dummies to get through the line and score.

After 45 minutes the Bulls finally go close to a try. Patient build up from the Bulls sees them kick two kickable penalties to touch. Almost an identical play to the Brumbies at the end of the first half sees Mapoe take an inside ball off Steyn to get over the line, but a late hit from Speight forces Mapoe to knock on.

Great try on the stroke of half time. The Brumbies patiently work the ball into Bulls territory, until eventually Coleman comes into the line at pace off an inside ball to just about get over the line.
