Hello and welcome to this encounter between The Brumbies and The Lions. This is the final warm up game before the 1st test so this is the last chance for some of these players to put their name forward for selection for the test. This game will be one of the toughest games so far on the tour with the Brumbies naming a strong squad , while the Lions name what looks to be a second string outfit. For the Lions there are debuts in Billy Twelvetrees, Brad Barrit and Christian Wade and they also welcome back Shane Williams for one match only. How can you wish injury upon a player of this immense game? What a tool. Obviously not a true fan if you wish injury on ANY player nevermind a Lion.

As for Hogg I hope he continues to rise to each new challenge that comes his way just as he has over the last two years. His biggest challenge yet. Tough opposition with a backline that has never played as a unit before and probably only will have trained together a couple of times

Key players to watch: Richie gray. Straight shoot between him and Alun wyn for other lock in tests with POC.
O'brien at 6. Still a tight race between him lydiate and croft.
Faletau at 8. Currently loosing the jersey to heaslip despite being the favourite coming into the tour.
Ben youngs at 9. Phillips most likely to start but if he has a stormer today then could find himself starting instead of benching.
However all this said if anyone has a blinder of a game today they could find themselves in the team on Saturday
