Son of former Samoa, Northampton and Newcastle number eight, and current Connacht coach Pat Lam, Mitch jetted over from New Zealand to join his father’s side on another interim deal, initially training with the Connacht squad and playing Ulster Bank League rugby for Galwegians, before making his debut at home to Cornish Pirates, in the B&I Cup.
