Worcester secure Premiership safety as Gloucester clinch play-off return

Worcester Warriors retained their Premiership status with a 27-20 victory over Gloucester, who secured a top-four spot at Sixways on Sunday.
Second-half tries from Niall Annett and Darren Barry saw Worcester come from behind to earn a win that sent them 11 points clear of bottom side Newcastle Falcons with two games remaining.
Henry Purdy touched down in the 61st minute to earn Gloucester a losing bonus point and a place in the play-offs for the first time in eight years.
Gloucester wing Purdy crossed in the 10th minute, but Duncan Weir responded by kicking a penalty and converting his own try before the midway point of the opening period.
Willi Heinz finished off a phenomenal move from the visitors and Billy Twelvetrees added the extras as Worcester went into half-time trailing 15-13.
Annett and Barry turned the game on its head, though, and Purdy scoring the game's final try did little to dampen Worcester's jubilation over their safety being guaranteed.
