WillGriff John joins Sale Sharks

Born in Plymouth, WillGriff, 24, started his playing career at Pontypridd and represented Wales at all Junior Levels.

 

He also played for Cardiff Blues before moving to New Zealand and played for two seasons in the ITM Cup with the province of Northlands.

WillGriff returned to the UK in 2014 joining Championship side Doncaster, where he has been one of the leading front-rowers in the competition over the past 3 years.

He was a member of the 2012 Wales U20 World Cup Squad that finished third in the competition and helped inflict the first ever defeat on the New Zealand U20's.
