Weepu to join Oyonnax

It has been confirmed that former All Black Piri Weepu will be leaving London Welsh at the end of the season to join French side Oyonnax.

Weepu has signed a two-year contract and will bring an end to what has been a horrendous season with Weepu and his team mates looking set for relegation after struggling to win a single game all season.

The 31-year old who was part of the New Zealand team that won the World Cup in 2011 will now continue his career in France having previously played for the Hurricanes and the Blues.
