Backs Blair Kinghorn, Damien Hoyland and Duhan van der Merwe have today all committed their immediate futures to Edinburgh. 

The back-three trio have been in fine form this season, scoring 15 tries between them in all competitions. Kinghorn, Van der Merwe and Hoyland have all chosen to extend their stay in the capital on three, two and one year deals respectively. Full story

Back-rower David Denton to join Leicester Tigers

Scotland international back-rower David Denton has agreed a move to Leicester Tigers for the start of the 2018/19 season.

Denton first came to prominence at Edinburgh before moving to Aviva Premiership Rugby in 2015, first with Bath and then with Worcester Warriors. Full story

Jack Willis signs new contract at Wasps

Wasps have announced that academy product Jack Willis has signed a new contract.

This extends the former England under 20 back-rower’s stay at the club he originally joined ahead of the 2015/16 season.

Will Rowlands re-signs with Wasps

Wasps have confirmed that second-rower Will Rowlands has signed a contract extension with the side.

The 26-year-old has enjoyed an excellent season, producing a number of eye-catching appearances in both the Premiership and European Champions Cup.

Brookes to leave Northampton Saints

Northampton Saints have confirmed that prop Kieran Brookes will be leaving the Club at the end of the season.

Brookes, 27, arrived at Franklin’s Gardens back in 2015 and has made 66 appearances in Black, Green and Gold to date.     

Stormers to be without Pieter-Steph for season opener

 The Stormers will be without Springbok forward Pieter-Steph du Toit for their Super Rugby opener against the Jaguares on Saturday.

The 25-year old, who finished 2017 in the No 7 jersey for the Springboks, has been battling a back injury in pre-season and has been given some extra time off to fully recover.

Ospreys Rugby have announced that teenage flanker, Will Jones, has put pen to paper on his first professional contract. 

The 19-year old openside has enjoyed a breakthrough season with the region, making his debut in the Anglo-Welsh Cup in November and going on to feature regularly in the Guinness PRO14 and Champions Cup.
