Duhan van der Merwe could miss Scotland's Six Nations match against Italy next week.
The Scotland international was shown a straight red card in Worcester Warrior's 43-12 loss to London Irish on Saturday.
The winger was given his marching orders in the 45th minute as he was judged to have for making contact with Kyle Rowe's head with his forearm in an attempt to hand him off.

Depending on the outcome of his disciplinary, van der Merwe will likely miss Scotland's trip to the Stadio Olimpico.

'Based on the below footage, he would have a good argument for getting it overturned.
