Aaron Cruden made a starring return to Super Rugby on Friday as he inspired a second-half comeback victory over the Blues.
The Chiefs, in Warren Gatland's first game in charge, found themselves trailing 19-5 at half time before Gatland turned to the 50 test All Black for the second half.
Cruden replaced debutant Kaleb Trask at half time as the Chiefs went on to outscore the Blues 10-32 in the second half.
Cruden scored 12 points from the tee but possibly the highlight of his performance was this offload to set up Solomon Alaimalo for a try.

Cruden returned to New Zealand after a troubled stint in Montpellier, the side he joined after the British and Irish Lions tour in 2017.
He is set to go to Japan after the 2020 Super Rugby season with Chiefs' fans excited to see him link up with Damian McKenzie, who missed the season opener due to injury, throughout the year.
