Watch: Munster youngster nails an 81st minute penalty to beat Scarlets

An incredible finish to the game as a 14-man Munster come away with a narrow 27-30 win over Scarlets at the Parc Y Scarlets. Young flyhalf Ben Healy was the hero of the game as he slotted a 50 metre penalty in the final play to secure the victory after Leigh Halfpenny's accuracy from the tee saw Scarlets lead 27-17 into the final 10 minutes of the game.

Scarlets kept the scoreboard ticking over through their marksman who failed to miss a single shot at goal from his 9 attempts. Meanwhile Munster were punished again and again for their ill discipline with Peter O'Mahony being shown a yellow card in the 22nd minute of the game. By that stage Halfpenny had given Scarlets a 9 point lead. Jack O'Donoghue then finished off a wonderful counter attacking try for Munster after a break from Andrew Conway and a neat offload from Damian de Allende that saw the flank race through. JJ Hanrahan added the extras before Halfpenny put Scarlets ahead by five from the tee. Halfpenny made it eight soon after the break before Hanrahan got one back for Scarlets. He added another two from the tee as the home side went into a 14-point lead.

A number of changes from Johann van Graan swung the game in Munster's favour as Chris Farrell powered through to score for the visitors but in the act of scoring his captain, Peter O'Mahony, dived into the back of one of the Scarlets players and was shown his second yellow card. The try stood and Healy added the two points before Scarlets restarted with a penalty on halfway which Halfpenny slotted with ease. Healy stepped up soon after to make it a seven point game as Munster surged in the latter stages. Kevin O'Bryne popped over the line from a maul and Healy converted to level the scores before Scarlets conceded a penalty on halfway. Ben Healy stepped up and hit it hard and low as the ball dissected the uprights to hand Munster a fantastic come from behind victor.
