Wales coach Warren Gatland hints that Roger Lewis' departure as WRU chief executive may affect his future

Warren Gatland reacted in typically cryptic fashion on Tuesday when declaring that Roger Lewis’s impending departure as Welsh Rugby Union's chief executive “probably does” have a bearing on his own long-term future.

Lewis has announced that, after nine years in charge, he will leave his post following the World Cup in October, and after answering in the affirmative whether he could see it affecting his role as Wales coach going forward Gatland refused to elaborate.
