England's Sam Underhill will undergo a specialist review after suffering ankle ligament damage and could miss the start of the Six Nations.
Sam Underhill's participation in the Six Nations appears doubtful after Bath confirmed the England back-row forward will see a specialist having sustained ligament damage to his ankle last weekend.
Underhill, who impressed during England's November Tests, was hurt in his club's victory over Leicester Tigers on Sunday.
In a statement on Wednesday, Bath confirmed Underhill and Matt Garvey are set for spells on the sidelines, the latter having broken his ankle in the same game.
"Underhill sustained ligament damage to his ankle and further detail around his expected return will be provided after his specialist review," read Bath's statement.
England begin their Six Nations campaign with a blockbuster clash against reigning champions Ireland in Dublin on February 2.
