Turner signs 2-year Glasgow deal

Scotland international hooker George Turner has signed a two-year contract with Glasgow Warriors.

Turner, who has spent this season on loan at Glasgow Warriors from Edinburgh Rugby, has committed to the Warriors until at least May 2020.

The news comes just 24 hours after he was named in the Scotland squad for the 6 Nations.

The 25-year-old has already played 12 times for the club, scoring four tries in the process. He made his Scotland debut in the 2017 Autumn Tests playing in the games against Samoa and New Zealand at Murrayfield.

Turner is the sixth player to commit his future to the Warriors this season.
