England beat South Africa in the World Rugby U20 Championship
The U20 finals will be an all nothern hemisphere affair after South Africa suffered a convincing 39-17 defeat against England in Manchester last night. Ireland will appear in the tournament's finals for the first time after beating Argentina 37-7. South American Pulella was handed a red card for a head butt to the cheek of Irish No. 4 Sean O’Connor in the 72nd minute.
New Zealand certainly showed the performance of the day though, as Wales were retenlessly hammered with try after try. The game ended on a spectaular 71-12 score for NZ.
Ben McCalman out for the rest of the season
The Wallabies and Force No 8 fractured his right scapular after coming on to replace Sean McMahon in the 50th minute against England this weekend. He has been ruled out for 6 weeks at the very least and will miss the third test of the season as well as the rest of the 2016 Super Rugby calendar.
Nick Cummins Olympic dreams look set to come to an end
The ultra-popular Wallabies winger has suffered a knee injury which makes him unable to join the rest of the Australian sevens squad for a a week-long camp in Darwin starting Friday.
“I’ve made it clear to the group that it’ll be tough to make the squad for Rio if they haven’t been selected for Darwin,” said coach Andy Friend.
