Sopoaga looks to have settled into his role as Wasps marquee out-half and his performance tonight solidified this. The Kiwi managed a brilliant kicking game which put Newcastle in difficult situations while his trademark attacking and passing around the corner gave Wasps plenty of space to prob the scoreboard.
George McGuigan
One of the best performances from a forward in the Premiership this season - McGuigan was simply everywhere tonight. Newcastle enjoyed a 100% success rate from their lineout, unleashing their powerful rolling maul where McGuigan's role was significant. The dynamic hooker also demonstrated his defensive capabilities winning two penalty turnover as the breakdown for his side.
