Top Performers - Lions vs Waratahs

With the Lions securing their 3rd successive Super Rugby Final, the SA conference winners had a number of players that put their hands up.

Hardly a game goes by when the Springbok does not perform but 2 tries and a few steals helped him along the way to another great performance for his side. Arguably the best hooker in world rugby, he will need to maintain his form next week if the Lions are to beat the Crusaders

Kwagga Smith:

The former Springbok 7's players showed speed, grit and strength today as he scored 2 tries off his 99m run and leaving 8 defenders in his wake. Many South Africans are wanting him to get a longer run in the Springbok jersey.

Michael Wells:

Wells had plenty work to do on defence and made all 15 of his tackles on the day. He made 7 carries for 20m and managed to beat 5 Lions players in 80 minutes.
