Top Performers: All Blacks v Los Pumas

Argentina battled well in against a largely changed All Black side with the scoreboard not telling the true tale of the game.

Here are our Top Performers from the clash:

Nicolas Sanchez

A superb performance by the Argentine playmaker. He was involved in everything good Los Pumas did today.

He made 40 running metres beating 5 defenders and made 3 clean breaks. 

He scored a try, assisted another and was heavily involved in the build-up to the Moroni try that was disallowed.

Shannon Frizell 

Playing in front of his home crowd, Frizell made a massive impact for the All Blacks in what was just his second start in the black jersey.

He was busy on attack and defence making 16 carries and 16 tackles. 

Frizell also forced his way over the line for his first test try after coming so close against France in June.

Ramiro Moyano

The Argentine flyer topped the running metres in the match with his personal tally of 112 metres.

He also beat 7 defenders, a total only matched by Jack Goodhue, and made 2 clean breaks.

The speedster finished the match with one try and was dangerous on attack throughout.

TJ Perenara

Perenara enjoyed a rare start for the All Blacks against Los Pumas.

The nifty halfback has been used off the bench to make an impact for the majority of his career but made a similar impact in the starting line up today.

He dotted down for two tries and made a superb cover tackle on Moroni in the first half to deny him a try.

Jack Goodhue 

Goodhue seems to go from strength to strength in the All Blacks jersey since making his first start against France in June.

The Super Rugby winning centre made 47 running metres but it was his stellar decision making on defence that really stood out.

His fellow centre partner for the majority of the match, Anton Lienert-Brown, was also brilliant showing the All Blacks superb depth in the position.
