Oyonnax continued their winning run as they defeat Toulon 29-26 at the Stade Charles-Mathon. Tries from Rory Grice and Marcel Van Der Merwe along with a number of penalty kicks from Botica and Belleau brought the scores 19-16 at halftime. Toulon responded well in the second half where Malaki Fekitoa powered his way over from close range on the 55-minute mark. The visitors looked to be in control from here and when Anthony Belleau slotted a penalty with 10 minutes remaining, Toulon had a four-point lead. Oyonnax adopted a never say die attitude and a strong drive from the forwards at scrum time gave them one more attacking opportunity as the clock went dead - Vincent Debaty managed to muscle his way over after a long series of phases to give the hosts a memorable and historic win.
